Biography

Professor Sanko has worked in different areas of business including banking, business planning, financial control and portfolio management. She has great experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students and has taught over 200 classes. This includes courses in the areas of Global Business, International Business, Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Personal Finance, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. She has also taught in Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Switzerland, Ukraine, Lithuania and China and has spent time in Mexico, Spain, France, Holland, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy and the Bahamas. She was born in the Ukraine but has lived and worked in the United States for the last 15 years. She enjoys classical music, art, philosophy and travel. She especially enjoys learning about the economies and cultural backgrounds of different countries and has learned much from her students in this regard as well as from extensive reading in these areas.
