Biography

Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico - Studied Business Administration, Bachelor and Graduate Program in Economics from 1965 to 1971. Performed research work and completed military training in United States Air Force and Puerto Rico-Air National Guard from 1971 to 1973. From 1973 to 1983 worked at Chase Manhattan Bank, and attended the Officers’ Executive Program for two years, learning the sophisticated techniques of corporate finance, accounting, and loan analysis covering all sectors of the economy. Throughout the years held key positions in the area of mortgage and construction loans, restructure and workout unit, and local national corporations as Second Vice President. From 1983 to 1993 worked at Paine Webber as Vice President of Investment Accounts, providing alternatives to maximize investors’ return on investments portfolio based on financial modeling programs. Advised on stocks, tax exempt vehicles, government securities, mutual funds, and stock options based on customers’ objectives.From 1994 t0 1998 worked with H.V. Investments and designed a cash flow management program that improved its liquidity condition. Structured forecast budgets according to economic trends. Employed discounted cash flow techniques to analyze and recommend capital investments. In 2004 moved to Miami, Florida and worked with Intermark Industries,Inc From 2004 to 2005.Helped to manage total budgeting operating accounts and advised finance department in reporting accurate information to the board of directors. Supervised closing of books on a monthly basis and implemented cash flow programs to maintain adequate cash reserves. From 2006 to 2007 worked at Northern Capital, Inc. Holding Company and managed accounting records of companies organized under its parent company. Supervised computerized journal entries to ensure proper accounting procedures. Supervised bank statement reconciliations and daily cash balance reports. From 2007 to present has been rendering partial professional services to R&S Engineering and Inspections, Inc. by supervising financial transactions for accurate information business decisions. Supervises accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll activities as well as unemployment and tax government reports. Analyzes financial statements to provide correct information on company’s economic performance.From 1998 to present serves on a partial basis as accounting and business math profesor in New Professions Technical Institute.Educates in accounting, computerized accounting, and business management. Teach principles of accounting and finance, guiding students to interpret concepts for an educated decision-making process.
